From Saturday July 11 through August 17, Gallery Route One presents the Annual GRO Artists’ Exhibition, Spaces Between. 15 GRO artists exhibit their latest, best work filling the entire gallery with paintings, sculptures, assemblage, from figurative to abstraction.

Why Spaces Between? Perhaps to point to the liminal realm that art inhabits, those spaces between our physical feet-on-the-ground world and worlds of intellect, spirit, and imagination. The show— a vibrant collage of both individual and collective expression—includes two new artists: Mary Ann Leff and Tonia Sassi, selected by a GRO jury.

The public is invited to Artist’s Reception on Saturday, July 11, 3-5pm, with a Gallery Talk at 3pm. Meet GRO artists, see the exhibition, and enjoy a glass of wine! Then stay for ‘2nd Saturday Open Late’ from 5-7pm with live music by Brian Foster.

Exhibiting artists: Jizell Albright, Kelly Berg, Mary Mountcastle Eubank, Jenny-Lynn Hall, Steven Hurwitz, Betsy Kellas, Mary Ann Leff, Bruce Mitchell, Zea Morvitz, Airiel Mulvaney, Renee Owen, Tonia Sassi, Will Thoms, Vickisa, Ellen Vogel, and EA Zappa.
