“Joni Mitchell was one of my early inspirations.  As a young girl who wrote poetry all the time, discovering her,  I saw music as the way for poetry to be heard and began to learn to sing and play guitar.  As a poet, for me, she was right up there with Bob Dylan.  Her 5-octave vocal range was astounding.   I aspired to be able to sing her songs and added many to my repertoire along the way.  57 years later, I must say, I am very excited to do this show.” – Kimrea
