Autumn Watercolor Series — Gourds
* Saturday, October 3, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

Explore the colors and forms of autumn with a watercolor class inspired by pumpkins and gourds. Using their distinctive shapes, textures, and seasonal colors as our subject, students will practice building form through loose washes, layered color, and expressive brushwork.

Through demonstrations and guided exercises, we’ll explore techniques for creating volume, capturing subtle variations in color, and suggesting texture without overworking the painting. Students will be encouraged to embrace watercolor’s natural fluidity and develop a loose, expressive approach to observational painting.

No prior watercolor experience is necessary. Students will leave with a collection of seasonal watercolor studies and techniques they can apply to future paintings.
