THE VENUE
A National Historic Landmark in San Francisco, the 1913 Saint Joseph’s Church has
been revitalized by renowned interior designer and event specialist Ken Fulk as a destination, a forum and a source of inspiration for artists, patrons and the public.

Filled with unique sculptures and delightful art installations that complement the original architecture, the Saint Joseph’s Arts Society is a dazzling new venue and one-of-a-kind concert hall that has to be seen to be believed.

Bread & Roses Presents is a nonprofit arts organization with a human services mission. Founded in 1974 by the late singer-songwriter/guitarist Mimi Fariña, Bread & Roses has consistently and reliably provided services to our neighbors most in need for over 50 years.

Over the past five decades, we have produced more than 20,000 shows for over 1,000,000 audience members in over 300 different facilities in the San Francisco Bay Area. We couldn’t have achieved this without the nearly 3,000 volunteers who have helped us carry out our mission of bringing free live music and the performing arts to those most in need of healing.
