Las Expresiones - Celebrating Latino Artists of the Bay Area

at the Marin Community Foundation

The San Francisco Bay Area is deeply infused with the artistry and traditions of Latin American Artists. In this exhibit we celebrate the extraordinary vitality that springs from the traditions and experiences these artists show in their work.

Presented by the Marin Arts Council, the Marin Community Foundation and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, we hope you will come enjoy this wonderful show.

at the Marin County Civic Center 1st and 3rd Floor Galleries

April 5 - September 17, 2010

 

The diverse styles and photographic interests of this award winning group of Marin Photographers bring together a collection of dynamic images meant to draw the viewer inward. The exhibition focuses on places and nature through both the natural landscape and impressions of nature based on the photographer's interpretive vision. The focus on places ranges from a simple door to images from around the world. Our images encompass the digital darkroom, traditional film photography and the unique perspective on in camera techniques.
